ok..i know we are all almost sick of talking about the darn swine flu....but i must post this annoyance that happened at my work the other day....so we were sitting in our meeting and of course the topic came up....i voiced my opinion that of course with a 22 month old i was a little nervous....especially since a case about 10 miles down the road from us had just emerged....i am not worried for myself but i am concerned about my son....
well a co-worker (whom i will not name) proceeded to laugh at me and say that people here need to relax and that there will not be U.S. deaths b/c we have better health care than Mexico"
well the next day..as i walked into work and checked cnn.com...i noticed that 23 month old in texas had died from swine flu....
my point of this story..unless you have children....don't tell me what to get upset over or what not to get upset over...
ok my rampage is done...HAPPY THURSDAY!
